A beautiful estate away from nature. Limited network which keeps away all those stressful calls from work😀. Wifi connectivity is super good in the estate so u can catch up on work if needed.... the place is huge and u can explore places within the estate if u dont wish to step out . The swimming pool is huge. The food is good. However not the local taste but I liked it. And last but not the least there are setups done to party, chitchat, drink, play board games, a projector to watch movie etc . All in all, I had a good time. There are separate sections for dining and partying. Good amenities including swimming pool. I  stayed in the estate for four days along with group of 9 other friends. A lovely place to have a real chilled out and relaxed holiday, surrounded by coffee estates, great ambience, well maintained pool and very large living room to sit and enjoy with friends and family.

The best part of the place is above excellent service provided by three staff members stationed at the estate, Rakesh , Sen and Pappu.  Friendly, courteous, and smiling people. To top it, they are such excellent cooks that you can’t imagine. For four days they fed us with excellent food not repeating a single dish for four days. Ten friends of 40 years spent 4 wonderful days at Nysa Estate @Coorg. Beautifully laid out and well appointed place - nice bedrooms with large beds and clean bathrooms, a very large living area, big screen & projector, well maintained pool, a bar gazebo, and a neat dining space. And oh yes! A fabulous sky deck in the midst of coffee and pepper plantation.
This isn’t all. The service is impeccable - great food of course from the kitchen manned by Rakesh, Pappu, and Sen; but whether it’s suggesting a menu, thoughtfully bringing tidbits just when you think you needed it, and doing all this with a smile. Wonderful property, 10 of us, all senior citizens except 2 . Very comfortable and great service. Rakesh the caretaker is a gem of a person. He and his team of another 2 boys went out of their way to make us comfortable. They cook great food and the property is luxurious and very comfortable. NYSA ESTATE – STAYVISTA COFFEE & MIST - Coorg: If there is one thing that defines Coorg the best, then it has to be the infinite regal fields of coffee plantations. LOCATION – IN THE LAP OF MOTHER NATURE: Now known as Nysa Estate, it is located in the middle of such infinite coffee plantations. As mobile network is poor in the region, it is better to reach the place during day-time. “The beauty of Mother Nature does not lie solely in what we see. There is beauty in the sounds of nature, the songs of birds, the howl of coyotes, the whisper of the wind in the trees. Nature has a myriad of wonderful scents, from lilacs to the smell of wet dogs to the noxious odours of skunks. And then there are the textures. The papery roughness of birch bark to the softness of mosses, to the warmth of rabbit fur. A blind child may not be able to relate to our visual experience. But instead of trying to explain what may never be understood, close your eyes and enter their world. You may discover you have been missing a lot.” – Lynn M. Teatro The calm, peaceful/ tranquil and unruffled location of the property will best be appreciated when guests take early morning long walks in the surrounding areas (not solely within the Nysa estate’s plantations) where birds’ chirping provide melodious music to ears and the verdant coffee plantations & mountains covered with mist, morning sun blooming through the trees illuminating the life on planet Earth, colourful flowers and plants with varieties of colourful leaves and charming picturesque village houses provide a rare treat to eyes. Lucky guests may be able to spot rare birds flying around, villagers drawing water from wells & cooking in wood fired pits. Post such leisurely walks, guests will realise that Mother Nature brings a sense of calmness, helps us destress, and brings a greater sense of appreciation for life. One thing we had wished to witness was stars lit sky as our stay was during no moon night. Unfortunately, due to clouds we missed this life time experience. FACILITIES: BEDROOMS: The ground floor level has two sit-outs - out of which one in front of TV and one bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has direct access to a small lawn on the backside. The First level has four more bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms & huge balconies with private sit-outs. All the bedrooms are of decent size and well illuminated. The sliding door running the full length of the room leading to the balcony also provides both natural light and air circulation. As the Villa is located in the middle of coffee plantations, the insects are natural & original inhabitants and, therefore, to avoid insects entering the bedrooms, guests are advised to close this sliding door in the evening. To allow fresh air, a part of the sliding door has mosquitoes/ insects net doors besides glass door. SLEEP QUALITY: All bedrooms have double beds with good quality mattresses, pillows, linen and comforters. BATHROOMS: The bathrooms are also of decent size. The shower area is segregated with half size glass partition and as a result, rest of the bathroom remains dry. All bathrooms have independent instant geysers. As a result, guests can take shower in quick succession. The water pressure in showers is reasonably good for guests to enjoy a good shower. WARDROBE: All bedrooms have open wardrobes which are small in size. Guests planning to stay for longer duration (3 or more nights) will find the space in open wardrobes a constraint. COMMON AREAS: The two sit-outs on the ground floor are of decent sizes and good quality comfortable sofas. There is also a serving area with a freeze exclusive for guests use in this area. A powder room in this area is needed to add to guests’ comforts. As weather is pleasant in Coorg round the year, there is no need for this area to be air-conditioned. Still, some discerning guests may be more happy and comfortable if air-conditioners are installed. The Bar / Serving counter is fairly big and is equipped with different types of glasses/ crockery for those consuming alcohol. LARGE SCREEN CINEMA MAGIC: Nysa Estate has a cinematic surprise in store for guests - Large 120 inch projector cinema with music system to provide theatre experience – where guests can in comforts of cozy set-up enjoy a family movie. Unfortunately, on account of an important milestone birthday of one of us, we could not experience the same. FOOD: The caretaker Rakesh with his two assistants serves excellent breakfasts, meals, high-tea and beverages whenever required. The rates for meals, BBQ and beverages are quite reasonable. Being senior citizens, we had preferred to carry our own fruits also to supplement. Also being festive season (Diwali), we had carried number of snacks & sweets which are traditionally consumed during this festive season. We all 10 guests in one chorus will compliment Rakesh and his assistants for taking excellent care of all our food & drinks requirements. Another interesting feature of the Villa is – there is no formal dining table. Instead, there are three cozy dining areas – one next to the main kitchen is covered dining area, next to it is a well-lit open to the sky dining area and the third is in a gazebo next to the pool. The open to the sky deck next to the pool can also be used as one more dining area – weather permitting. There is also one more dining area (not during dinner) – machan in the coffee plantation with sit-out facilities. We wish the staff had at least once served our meal on banana leaves – a traditional way of having meals and one breakfast on the machan. STAFF: The staff consists of Rakesh and his two assistants who on an on-going basis all through the day and late evenings ensured that the common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are kept neat and clean. SWIMMING POOL & GAZEBO NEXT TO IT: The pool is of fairly good size with absolute clean water. There are different types of floating devices for adults and children. Besides the main pool, there is a small square pool area where guests upto 10 in number can easily sit in cool comforts of water and do chit-chat. The stay at the villa becomes more enjoyable if guests can make maximum use of the Pool. The gazebo next to the pool is the third dining area equipped with Bar counter and a large screen TV which can also be used to play guests’ favourite music. We had enjoyed our BBQ dinner in this dining area. FURNISHING & DECO OF THE VILLA AND SURROUNDINGS: The dining areas, pool, gazebo next to the pool are well illuminated and trees adorn lights to make them look more beautiful at night. The interiors of the Villa, common areas and bedroom wear good décor items making the overall appearance pleasing and enjoyable. ACTIVITIES: There are number of places listed for tourists to visit – if they so desire, particularly if they are visiting Coorg for the first time. But, considering the overall conditions of roads and vehicular traffic, commuting time is long. The property’s website mentioned about a big walking area in front of the villa. But, our experience was to take long walks each morning in the surrounding areas outside the estate. On all three mornings we opted for three different directions for our such walks where birds’ chirping provided melodious music to ears and the green fields and mountains covered with mist and colourful flowers provided a rare treat to our eyes. The property has Table Tennis table with required rackets and balls and also badminton rackets and shuttle. The management can consider adding frizbee. We are not sure whether the property has required Yoga mats for guests to do yoga exercises. Out of this world experience. Never seen a calm place before.
After marriage had gone few places but nothing better than this. Amazing calm place. Top class food. Barbeque and camp fire was so good, we didn't realise until it was 3am. The view from the top was just too good. Last but not the least nyesa mam the owner was making sure that even if she was not present there, we could see through calls she was making sure everything was absolutely fine. Enjoyed a pleasant two-night stay at "Nysa Estate" with our family of 12. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff exhibited great humility. The cleanliness and service were impeccable, although the pool could use some extra attention in cleanliness. The chefs (Rakesh and Pappu) were accommodating, readily preparing additional dishes upon request. A delightful poolside BBQ dinner was arranged, allowing us to savor food while the kids enjoyed the pool. The managers (Sumukh and Partha) not only suggested places to visit but efficiently organized our itinerary, minimizing any wasted time.
